Visit the Dye Garden
The Dye Garden is part of Beach Road Nature Reserve and was established in April 2021.
The Dye Garden was inspired by Louise of Lighthouse Yarns to show people how you can use natural and readily available flowers, plants and trees to dye yarn, fabrics and use as an artist medium. It is also a way of bringing the community together by creating somewhere they can not just walk their dog but also sit and talk to each other and help build new relationships. Beach Road Nature Reserve and Dye Garden is a haven for wildlife and with the help of a hard working volunteer team has become an area which is filled with bees, butterfiles, ladybirds to name but a few.
